The XVII International student, postgraduate and young scientist conference «Lomonosov»

In the annual 2010 International «Lomonosov» confrernce of students, postgraduates and young scientists will take place in april 12th — 15th at Lomonosov Moscow State University. The International «Lomonosov» conference is the part of the International Youth scientific forum «Lomonosov-2010».

The main aim of the conference is to develop student, postgraduate and young scientist creative activity, to involve them into solving problems of the day in science; to maintain and develop a uniform scientific and educational space, to establish ties between future colleagues.

In 2010 the conference will consist of 33 sections and more than 280 subsections which reflect the main fields of modern science.

Students (Specialists, Bachelors or Masters), postgraduate students, applicants and young scientists from any country who are under 35 — students and employees of Russian and foreign universities, postgraduates and research workers are all invited to participate in the conference. The working languages are Russian and English.

With the recommendation of the councils of experts and by the decision of the organizing committee the authors of the best applications (specially invited guests) will be provided with a free -of -charge residence in the hostel of MSU in april 12th — 15th in the 2010.

All those willing to take part in the conference are to submit the theses of their report to the organizing committee from the 28th of January till the 28th of February 2010 (applications will be accepted on the 25th of February as well) ONLY via electronic registration. The registration is held on the Youth scientific portal «Lomonosov» (www.lomonosov-msu.ru). Applications sent by mail or electronic mail (e-mail) will not be taken into consideration and will not be registered.

The council of experts of the section will be headed by the leading scientists of Lomonosov Moscow State University and Russian Academy of Sciences. The selected participants will be invited and given notice by the organizing committee with approval of the council of experts no later than two weeks before the beginning of the conference.
